How did you find about madeit?
Crafty friends had told me all about it as they were excited it was an ‘Australian’ website. I also had a lot of customers at markets asking if I was on the site. I finally got my act together – and here I am!
Explain your style?
I love the mix of old and new. I love vintage pieces that remind me of my childhood, things that have a story. I love experimenting with vintage materials – you could say my creations are vintage inspired, quirky and not perfect!
What makes you happy?
Being creative. I love seeing a project come to life and people appreciating it. I love the country and getting back to nature, it energises me and I appreciate life even more. My daughter, when she looks at us with her cheeky grin, we are truly blessed to have her in our lives.
What makes you sad?
When I can’t get outside! When I’m not in contact with people, I love communicating.
What can't you live without?
A great coffee shop close by. Op shops full stop! My beautiful husband and daughter.
